I really like my sandals and the braking in time was not long at all
Love them so far
Strap took some getting used to. I normally wear sneakers or Mexican huaraches. Now my kiwi sandals is all I want to wear all summer !
Full grain leather is maent to be “uncomfortable” at first. I did have to endure about a week of pain between the big toe and index toe from a stiff strap. BUT, in week 2, the sandal started forming to my foot. So now in week 3 I literally don’t want to wear anything else this summer !
They are causing me a ton of pain between my big toe and index toe when I walk.
We're sorry to hear about the discomfort you're experiencing.
Here are a few suggestions to help with a better fit.
They should feel snug, but never painful. If they are, you may need a different size. Here is a link to our size chart and frequently asked questions and return policy.

Once you’ve decided to keep them for good, wear them regularly and apply a small amount of leather conditioner to the straps (like Fiebing's 4-Way Care or Lexol Step 2) to help the leather relax.
