Let customers speak for us
from 138 reviewsI purchased these sandals specifically because Kiwi makes them in a wide size. The sandal shape and the wide construction is great, with long wearing Vibram soles and supple leather. I hope they'll eventually make other models in the wide.

Day 2 reviewer here (size 13); As someone who hasn’t worn thong flip flops in over 15 years, the adjustment is real! However I must say that these sandals are already starting to feel like my go-to pair for years to come. Great arch support, timeless look, excellent craftsmanship, I am impressed.

I have very wide feet and have been having trouble finding cute sandals that would also be good for walking or wearing to the beach/pool. I’m going to south of France this summer and need something cute and comfortable for lots of walking. I found this brand in a google search and liked the idea of the adjustable straps since that’s usually where I struggle to find shoes that fit. When these arrived I thought I made a terrible mistake. The toe post was too think for between my toes and was super uncomfortable. I had read reviews where people mentioned the sandals need to be broken in a good bit. I decided to work on breaking them in and for the first week I wrapped a cloth bandaid around the toe post to keep it together while I broke in the shoes. I got them wet and wore them around my house and sat in the sun with them. After a few days they were becoming comfortable and I removed the bandaid. They were still a bit stiff but I continued to work on breaking them in and after about 12 days I can now say how comfortable they are. I wear them all the time now and can see them just getting better the more I break them in. The sole is non slip with great arch support. The leather is thick and doesn’t look bonded but whole straps of leather. The craftsmanship looks and feels solid and timeless. I’ll be recommending these to my sister and will definitely be getting more of these in the future. Entirely worth the price.

They have a snug fit at first but after that they get better and better. Litterly wear them everywhere.

I love these sandals! This is my third pair. The first pair I bought at an art show event from the man who started the business and I think has now retired. Each pair lasts me about 7 years and I ware almost no other shoes all summer. The kids that now run the business are fantastic also and the shoes are just as wonderful as ever. Once they are worn in they fit so perfectly and are the most comfortable sandals I have ever found.

My wife loved the sandals. Comfortable and with a durable sole. Great for Rocky Mountain summers and festivals!

I have been loving my sandals. At first, they hurt. I won’t lie, they are tight. But give it time, I wore them around the house and just kept sticking my feet in there and now they fit like a glove. I am obsessed. These were the sandals I have been searching for. Genuinely so comfy once you break them in, they don’t make my feet look like pancakes, and they are surprisingly supportive. And if they get wet, it’s honestly better. Let them dry while on your feet and they will shape even further. 10/10 sandal, the exact design I have been searching for. Excited to get years of use out of these.

I love love love these flip flops !! Thought I would never find them again , but then kiwi came into my life!!! Thank you so much ! will be ordering the taller ones soon!!!

Perfect ! They look great with dresses .. I luv them

My first pair of Kiwis; I've been wearing Reefs for ... twenty years?
Please read the rest of this review understanding that I'm definitely still breaking them in; I wear them every day but probably only a couple hours a day so far, for the past almost-two-weeks.
I'm finding as part of the break-in process that the thong between the toes causes... "soreness" you could say, particularly when walking downhill. The footbed isn't particularly grippy, which probably isn't helping the thong pain, and makes walking up hills a bit more difficult. I fully expect that the thong will soften and shape to my countours, and the footbed will also reshape slightly (I'm already seeing indents where my foot and particularly toes go).
I went into this purchase fully expecting a break-in process, and if I lived in a flatter area I suspect there'd be *zero* issues; the issues I have are purely a result of the heavier leather being used, which is something I'm looking forward to having for the decades ahead.
So, at 2 weeks: 5/5, would buy again.

My dad loves them. Epic Father's Day gift. Thanks!
