Super well made with beautiful leather. Dont balk at the thong! It took a short bit for my little pale, winterized toes to get accustomed to the leather thong, but they're brown and delighted with the comfortable freedom, now. Love the durable sole! Tickled with these!

I liked that these are handmade in California so decided to try them. I really like how simple they are and comfortable right away.
I wear an 8-8.5 and the 8 fits great.

This is my first pair of kiwi sandals. I am usually between an 8.5 and 9 with a wide toe box. I wear a lot of "barefoot" shoes (Lems, Vivo Barefoot). I ordered these in a size 8, based mostly on other reviews suggesting to size down. Initially I was wary trying them on; they seemed very tight and I was worried they wouldn't work. I wrote to the company asking what they would suggest to get a better fit - the length was perfect but the straps were too tight - they informed me that the straps can actually be adjusted, and sent me a quick video of how to let the straps out around the toe box (I thought this was pretty excellent customer support) This made all the difference, and now I am really in love with them. Just the right amount of cushioning without being spongey, just the right amount of arch support without being as extreme as Birkenstocks. So nice that they can be custom fit to the foot. I would whole-heartedly recommend these, and will likely re-order some day when I wear these out, which I would imagine will take quite a while.

Great quality and super comfortable!

Aside from being slightly thicker than i would prefer. The thinner leather sole option was approx a 6 week wait, but it isn't Kiwi's fault im impatient. The construction and materials are phenomenal. The leather components are thick, strong, buttery smooth, and smell amazing. The vibram sole material seems incredibly durable.

The customer service was top-notch. I was able to email my measurements, and someone told me exactly what to select.

Having just received them today, i can't comment on long-term comfort as this is my first pair, but i have no concerns based on what I've seen so far. Im giving these 5 stars because 6 isn't an option.

I love my new sandals! They are so comfortable, and they have just enough support- I’ve always worn Rainbow- and still do- but the Kiwis are more comfortable.

I bought a the same style years ago at a leather shop in Cape May NJ , unfortunately they were too small and this was before they had the crushable top decks that form to your feet and I couldn’t get the straps to stretch , fast forward to present day , I went up a size and the fit is much better, I have been wearing them for short trips to the store and what have you, once they crush and break in a bit I will have a great pair of flip flop sandals that are a step up and will be great to wear on date nights!

I’m still breaking them in but I can tell they are going to be favorites for years to come. I have a wide foot pad and a high daily step count that leaves me with few options in the sandal department. I’m happy to have found Kiwi.

These shoes are incredibly comfy, stylish, have great arch support, and are true to size. Very easy to dress up or down. I can’t wait to wear them for my many steps in Europe this summer.
